So, I'm probably really slow on the uptake here, and I've been out of the vexel loop for a while now. But I came accross something today that made me smile. I had some time to kill today so I strolled into a WHSmith and purchased a copy of 'Illustrate with Photoshop' by the same people who make Advanced Photoshop magazine. Flicking through I was suprised to see a whole 6 pages dedicated to a vexel tutorial by Sewwy (http://sewwy.deviantart.com). Wow! I had no idea that vexels had come this far...far enough to be recognised as a legitimate artform. Amazing!!

Well as many of you know, vexels.net is soon to be gone, and although I've been a member here at DevaintArt since 2005, I've never really used it that much. That was mainly due to finding it hard to use and a bit slow, but the site loads much faster these days, and I'm getting the hang of all the different features! So, I'm going to try my best to be much more active here, and I'm looking forward to meeting a whole new bunch of people, as well as of course keeping in contact with all the wonderful people I met at vexels.net :) #vexelove (https://www.deviantart.com/vexelove)
